Updated Flight Search on your members' websites, back In 2005 dohop launched the world's first flight planner for low-cost airlines and later expanded it to include all scheduled flights worldwide. The dohop.com flight planner is free to use. It does not sell flights or take bookings. Search results include links to airlines allowing Timelinx members to book Flights direct.

Stay safe overseas – know before you go

Whatever your reason for travelling abroad, you're sure to want a trouble free trip. Many of the things that often go wrong for travellers can be prevented or made less stressful by taking a few simple precautions. So it makes sense to spend a little time getting prepared before you travel – you could save yourself a lot of problems later on.

With this in mind, we are working with the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) to help British nationals stay safe abroad. The FCO website ( www.fco.gov.uk/travel) offers straightforward travel advice, top tips and up to date country information to help you plan your holiday.

Tips include:

• Make sure you have valid travel insurance, even if you're only planning a short trip.
• Visit your GP at least 6 weeks before you travel to get any vaccinations you might need.
• Read up on your destination, including local laws and customs.
• Make photocopies of your passport, visas and insurance details and leave a copy with a relative or friend at home.

You can also find handy checklists to use before you set off and whilst you're away. Plus it's worth reading up on what the local British Consulate can do to help you if you run into problems abroad – and what they can't do.

JUST A QUICK LINE TO LET YOU KNOW HOW THE HOLS WENT, THINGS GOT OF TO A BAD START AFTER A 13 HOUR DELAY AT MANCHESTER,A 12 HOUR DELAY IN SALVADOR AND MISSING A WHOLE DAY OF OUR TOUR, HOWEVER WHEN WE GOT TO RIO THINGS REALLY GOT A WHOLE LOT BETTER,THE GUIDE WAS EXCELLENT IN ALL ASPECTS OF KNOWLEDGE, AND DID HER BEST TO MAKE UP FOR LOST TIME, WE DID SUGARLOAF MOUNTAIN, STATUE CHRIST REDIMAR, A TOUR OF RIO,  A LOCAL MARKET AND THEN THE MAIN BEACHES, AFTER WHICH WE WALKED BACK TO OUR HOTEL ON COPACABANA BEACH. OUR FANTASTIC GUIDE ALSO PUT US IN THE BEST RESTARAUNT IN RIO. AMAZING!!!

WE LEFT MANAUS ONTO BAHIA WHERE WE SPENT THE NEXT WEEK, WE JUST RELAXED FOR THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS, THEN WE WENT OUT AND ABOUT EXPLORING,THE VILLAGE OF BAHIA WAS ABOUT 10MINS IN TAXI, IT CONSISTED OF TWO LONG STREETS OF SHOPS WHICH LED TO THE OCEAN AND A TURTLE RESERVE WERE THEY ARE VERY BIG ON CONSERVATION, YOU COULD WALK FROM OUR HOTEL TO BAHIA IN ABOUT AN HOUR. THE HOTEL WE STAYED IN WAS 5 STAR AND WELL WORTH IT, THE HOTELS “STAR TEAM” AS THEY WERE CALLED COULD NOT DO ENOUGH FOR YOU, ENTERTAINMENT WAS FIRST CLASS, AND THERE WERE SHOPS, BARS, POOLS,RESTAURANTS, EVERYTHING WAS JUST BRILLIANT.WE WOULD RECOMEND THIS TRIP TO OTHER MEMBERS LOOKING FOR A BIT OF ADVENTURE OR TO JUST GO AND RELAX IN A LOVELY 5 STAR HOTEL, WE WOULD DO IT AGAIN DEFINETLY. HOPE THIS IS SATSIFACTORY? WE HAVE JUST TOLD YOU A SMALL AMOUNT ABOUT OUR THE TRIP, WE COULD WRITE A BOOK ON THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE.
