UK Winners 2007 Timelinx Free Prize Draw –

Timelinx Director Craig Douglas and Customer Services representative Rachel Allum visited the delighted Walton’s at their home in Buckley, North Wales to present them with their cheque. Members since November 2006, the Walton family already have plans on how to spend their windfall.

How much of a difference will winning £10,000 make to your lives?
Patricia: “It will make a world of difference!”.
George and Patricia’s son David moved to Australia with work two years ago. They plan to put the £10,000 to one side and use it as fund to make as many visits as possible to see David and his wife Lisa over the next few years.
Patricia: “We never expected to be able to go and see David for at least another two or three years and now we can, it’s great!”
George and Patricia visited David and Lisa in February ’07 for a month and had no immediate plans to book up to see them again. Now £10,000 better off they plan to pay David a visit to help him celebrate his 40th Birthday by treating him, Lisa and their two dogs to a trip to Tasmania over Christmas and New Year, extending their stay to six weeks this time.
George and Patricia are especially looking forward to this visit as David and Lisa will be able to spend much more time with them over the Christmas holiday period.
Other than seeing the family and visit Tasmania, have you got anything else you want to do while in Australia?
Patricia: “Absolutely. When we visited in February we celebrated our Golden Anniversary with a special tram tour of Melbourne with a wonderful lunch and we hope to do that again. It was like a Tram version of the Orient Express!”
Are you always this lucky?
Patricia: “Not really, well never this lucky, I won a case of wine a while back but that isn’t quiet the same is it?”
George and Patricia entered the competition three times and their winning entry was taken from a pull-out of the Timelinx member’s magazine “The Traveller”.
Other than the small matter of winning £10,000, what else is it you like about being members of Freedom Vacation Network?
Patricia: “We book holidays on line because it’s so easy and you can look before you book, the choice of destinations is fantastic, being a member makes sense because of the discounts you can achieve when booking your family holiday, you also have your own personal account manager in reservations, so if you need any expert advice before booking its there.”
